***DUE TO THE RECENT OIL SPILL IN HUNTINGTON BEACH - CORGI BEACH DAY HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Unfortunately, we are relaying the news that none of us wanted to hear.
With the safety of the corgis and guests our number one priority we had to make a tough and agonizing decision. It's with a heavy heart we will be cancelling Fall Corgi Beach Day 2021.
The CBD team has spent the past few weeks working closely with government officials to determine the feasibility of the beach being clear for Corgi Beach Day. Even though HB dog beach has just reopened, there will still be a huge issue with "tarballs" on the beach. This is a big problem if dogs ingest them and can also get stuck in fur/paws/skin and need to be shaved out. Moreover, the ocean currents can shift on a moments notice, or a big swell can happen, and oil can return resulting in instantly shutting down the beach- a risk we are not willing to put our guests through.

As you can imagine it wasn't an easy decision but we feel we made the best decision for the health and safety of the corgis and all our attendees.

That being said, we are looking forward to our return in 2022- Spring Corgi Beach Day will be Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 and even sooner than that....Corgi Winter Nationals at Santa Anita Park Sunday January 2nd!
